Subject: The Nautilus Had An Orchestra?
Subject: The Nautilus Had An Orchestra?
Another great episode of SIA.. All about Submarines this time!! Dr. Earl introduces Chester Nimitz who has... a ... habit.. of.. talking.. slow.. but luckily hands it off to Charles Lockwood to take us on a tour of some neat subs at work.. Our main focus is the nuclear submarine Nautilus, and it's a pretty entertaining look at it. What was unique is how they cut away at times to a see a submarine at work, what it looks like is a Hollywood movie, complete with musical score about a submarine being attacked. Incredibly, Dr Earl asks if that sub got away, as if that's really important or not. The animal of the week is, of all things, a toucan! This man and his pet nearly steal the show, I always thought Toucans were these dispositions.. I guess I was wrong!
